Barone appeared in The Shoes, an episode of Seinfeld from season four. Barone plays Gail Cunningham as a restaurant owner who needs Elaine Benes' shoes. Barone was one of the cast members on Carol & Company, starring as Carol Burnett in the early 90s. Barone Also, she played Ross Geller's ex wife in the character's first appearance in Friends. Barone left the show when she decided to take on another full-time position. was substituted with Jane Sibbett. Barone was a guest on The Jeff Foxworthy Show in the initial season (from 1995-96) as well as on The War at Home between 2005 to the year 2007. Barone appeared on The War at Home with Daddio in 2000.
